Aria Hotels Kimolos Blue: Cycladic Escape

Emerald waters, pristine beaches, the perfect balance of setting, natural beauty and adventure are just a few of the reasons why you should visit Kimolos. A heavenly destination in the Cyclades, this small Greek island offers the ultimate escape, where you can press pause and lose yourself in a world of bliss. We recently returned from a 6 day Cycladic Escape where we stayed at the Aria Hotels Kimolos Blue.

Aria Hotels Kimolos Blue: A Perfect Balance of White and Blue 

Mediterranean blue stripes, chalk white and so Greek would be your first impressions of this traditional hotel complex. From an outdoor pool amidst the shade of pines, palms and olive trees — to cocoon hanging chairs and lounging corners, everything here reflects a typical Greek island style.

Accommodation at Kimolos Blue 

The 11 guest rooms have a cube-like chalk white design typical of the Cyclades islands, all set on a ground level they each feature a separate entrance with a veranda, equipped with a table and chairs.

We stayed in a Superior Triple which offers 20 square meters of space, with a semi-double bed, a single sofa-bed, bathroom with a shower curtain and a mini-bar. The room had a laptop size safe box, Nespresso machine, kettle, hairdryer and free Wi-Fi.

Breakfast at Kimolos Blue 

Daily breakfast is served at the Blue Tavern which is decorated with a striking blue wall and red accents.

Breakfast items included the traditional pie ladenia, cheese pie, a selection of cheese and cold cuts, fruits, and cereals. Eggs of choice are also available to order. Throughout the day guests can savour a selection of Mediterranean dishes.

Location 

Kimolos Blue is located approximately 3 kilometres from the port of Kimolos, Psathi. The nearest beach to the hotel is Aliki at a distance of 170 m. There is also a private parking area at the hotel.

Aria Hotels offers the My Kimolos Car service which comes with additional benefits such as baby and children seats upon request, third party insurance, 24-hour road assistance and unlimited mileage. If you want to truly experience Kimolos, then renting a car is an absolute must.

Thalassa Beach House 

Set directly on the beach the Thalassa Beach House is a private house with breathtaking sea views. Featuring 40 square meters of space it comes with a kitchen, dining area, double bed, bunk bed and a bathroom with shower.

Milaki Kimolos 

Ideally situated at a close proximity to the port of Kimolos and the Chorio, this traditional complex of 6 rooms features COCO-MAT queen-size beds.

Bonatsa Beach House 

Situated on the sandy beach of Bonatsa which is one of the most popular beaches of Kimolos, the fully-equipped beach house features three rooms each with its own private beach access. Here guests may also enjoy the services of B3 – Bonatsa Beach Bar with comfortable sunbeds and a delicious cocktail menu.

Alikaki Kimolos

The three-studio complex is an ideal accommodation choice for families and group of friends. Perched on top of a hill overlooking the Aliki Beach which is only a few steps away. Each studio offers a large garden, parking area and unparalleled sea views.

A perfect choice for those who wish to experience the authentic island life. The three traditional houses are equipped with modern comforts. The properties offer gorgeous views of Kimolos Port and Psathi Beach.

Aria Kimolos

A traditional island home situated at the entrance of Chorio  features two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom with shower, a living room with couch, a dining area and a veranda with a blooming garden and sea views.
